For April's meeting, please bring some of your writing to share (ex. a chapter of your novel) and a writing exercise for the group. Also, bring a friend!Don't forget, Poetry Slam is Saturday, April 16. Call 307-577-READ x 2 to sign up.

February's Teen Writers Group
Our next Teen Writers group will meet Monday, February 28 @6pm in the Teen Zone. Pizza & drinks will be provided, thanks to the Friends of the Library.The group decided that members should bring the following to share at February's meeting:
- An original piece of writing (could have been written at any time), preferably in the genre you enjoy writing most.
- Something you are reading, because what you read influences how you write.
- A FRIEND! What better way to expand the group.
- Description of your mythological/mythical creature. (You can create your own or create a mutation/upgrade/parody of one. Create a description of your character and how they interact with others.)
- Begin working on the Vantage Point Project. (The group brainstormed topics and each person is going to write up a scenario about the topics.)

- Post-apocalyptic monsters & boogie men
- Angels
- Werewolves
- Daughters of the moon/Sons of the moon
- Bipolar aliens

- Provide constructive criticism, not negative commentary.
- Any kind of writing is allowed.
- If you are sharing, please warn the group of any content that may be graphic. It may be appropriate for your writing, but not for the setting.
